A Wonderful Love Story

Mandee Mae has done it again! She gets better with every book she writes. This story was a nice change from her other works. The characters were nicely developed and her writing was her greatest by far. I'm looking forward to her next work! Sadie is such a lovable character with a wonderful personality and an even more wonderful sense of life. She has been scarred by her past experience with bullying, but she learns from her trauma and is able to make something positive out of it. She motivates herself to be a better person and choose her own future.
Matt is the typical jock/ bad boy who poked fun at Sadie when she was in her most vulnerable state. I was very uncaring towards Matt in the beginning. He was, of course, the essence of the bullies you would encounter in school. I began warming up to him the moment he realized he was a jerk to Sadie. As you read through the book, there is a distinct change in him from jerk to hero. Matt redeems himself in an unconventional way. Not to mention, there is a plot twist that will hit you in the face like a brick. Could be good, could be bad. It's up to you to find out for yourself!
Mandee Mae has left me speechless for yet another release. I'm just getting for her next release soon! 5 stars for a pair of lovers who must learn to let go of the past and look towards a future of full happiness.

This is my first read by Mandee, but it will not be my last! I cannot wait to download her other books on my Kindle and get to reading! She writes a beautifully heartbreaking and heartwarming story based on a young girl dealing with bullying in high school. The terror three boys put her through. But she overcame her insecurities and reinvented herself. She lost weight, took better care of herself and finished college. She landed a great job and is feeling good about her life. She has never had a relationship with a man. But she has wonderful friends and is quite happy.
Then, unexpectedly. Matt walks back into her life. Better looking than ever. Even though she has become a different person, he recognizes Sadie and convinces her to give him a chance to show her he has changed. Matt only wants to right all the wrongs that Sadie endured while she was only a young girl. But trying to forgive someone who was a partner to the horrible things that were done to her is not easily forgiven. Sadie is not sure she can ever have a meaningful relationship with a man, let alone Matt. Matt is not sure he can ever get Sadie to forgive him, but he makes it his mission to try to make it up to her.

Amazing Story

Forgive is a truly amazing story of love, forgiveness, and overcoming the past. Sadie's story of childhood bullying is one that I'm familiar with and her ability to move forward in her life, forgive those that hurt her, and eventually find love. Story of personal growth and recovery. I loved every minute of.
